Join Annette Gibbons, Deputy Minister with the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada for this informative and interactive session.  Memorial Alumna DM Gibbons (BA'88) will share her career journey in the public service and provide advice on how you might define your future path to a successful public service career in a wide variety of occupations.
 
A representative from the Public Service Commission of Canada will also share profiles of lesser-known organizations and highly rewarding career streams in the public service such as:  information technology security, nursing, engineering, multi-disciplinary research and so much more.
 
You will have the opportunity to ask questions about how to apply and gain insight into how the recruitment process and hiring works in the federal public service and the many benefits of service to Canadians!
