Inclusion Projects
Welcome to Student Life's Inclusion Projects!
We have exciting new projects that highlight inclusion and accessibility that will be of interest to everyone.
ASL Workshops
The Blundon Centre is proud to collaborate with the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of the Deaf (NLAD) to develop an 8-week American Sign Language (ASL) course. Participating students will have the opportunity to learn an introduction to ASL and to increase their knowledge of the Deaf culture and community.
This workshop series will play a role in advancing inclusion and accessibility at Memorial University and in our community.
The recordings for each week will be available below. All staff, faculty and students are encouraged to engage with the material.
If you're interested in participating during the Winter 2022 semester please email blundon@mun.ca by Friday, January 14, 2022.
