Student Involvement
While pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering degree, you are encouraged to do more than just study. Becoming involved in professional organizations will help you build a network of valuable contacts and keep you apprised of current events in your chosen discipline.
In addition to professional organizations, engineering students have their own societies (Society A and Society B), whose elected members represent engineering students and organize social events.
Beyond these societies, many students choose to join student groups that have engineering as a primary focus. Aspiring and motivated student engineers also give back to their community through community service and volunteering, which is both rewarding and self-fulfilling. The Student Design Hub is a wonderful support to student groups.
