Expressions of interest for tri-agency leaders and delegate positions
Dr. Tana Allen, vice-president (research and innovation), welcomes expressions of interest (EOI) from Memorial University researchers who wish to serve as a key institutional representative on one of three national networks.
Researchers can submit EOIs for the roles of:
- Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) Leader;
- Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Leader; and
- Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) University Delegate Network
Each role is a key link between Memorial and the respective funding agencies. They play vital roles representing Memorial within the national research ecosystem; engaging and consulting with the research community; sharing relevant information; and helping shape policies, plans and activities of the agencies.
NSERC and SSHRC Leaders and the CIHR University Delegate must hold appropriate knowledge and authority to represent their institution.
Valuing equity, diversity, inclusion, anti-racism and Indigenization, researchers of all career levels are invited to submit an EOI for one of the roles.
Please indicate your interest for which role by emailing vp.research@mun.ca, including your c.v., by Friday, May 29.
A committee, struck by the Office of the Vice-President (Research and Innovation), will review the EOIs.
