Review for Pedagogical Merit (Teaching & Testing)

Review for Pedagogical Merit (Teaching and Training)

Pedagogical merit review is conducted by the Office of the Vice-President (Research) for all animal-based teaching, and training protocols prior to review by the institution’s Animal Care Committee (ACC). To avoid conflict of interest, reviewers must not be collaborators on the protocols. See Pedagogical Merit Review Terms of Reference, Pedagogical Merit Review Course Instructor Form and Pedagogical Merit Review Reviewer's Report Form.

Collaborations

Each institution has the authority to request pedagogical merit review. In general, the host institution for the primary principal investigator provides pedagogical merit review, but it may be undertaken by each institution.
