Meeting Dates

Unless full committee review of an ethics application is needed, ICEHR members usually meet face-to-face once a semester. Delegated review occurs on a continuous basis, as ethics applications are received and assigned for review using the researcher portal.

Special meetings may be called by the Chair or Vice-Chair and may be requested by any member of the ICEHR.

Meetings are pre-scheduled for the First and Third Wednesday of each Month, to ensure availability of members and timely attention when a full review is required.

Quorum

A quorum shall be 50% of the membership. However, even if 50% of the members are in attendance, the Chair may declare that there is not quorum if, in his or her judgement, there is inadequate expertise relevant to the reviews under consideration.
