Retirement celebration for Tim Avis
After 18 years of dedicated service to the university community, Tim Avis is retiring on Friday, Oct. 13 from his role as Director of the Technology Transfer and Commercialization Office (TTCO), a unit within the Vice-President (Research) Portfolio.
Colleagues and former co-workers are invited to join Tim for a coffee break in his honour on Thursday, Oct. 19, from 10-11:30 a.m. in the Genesis Centre Boardroom, room IIC-3001, in the Bruneau Centre for Research and Innovation.
In addition to his role as director of the TTCO, Tim also served in a variety of other positions including special advisor to the vice-president (research) and chief financial officer of the Genesis Group.
