Nominations for John Lewis Paton award due April 1
Nominations will be accepted until April 1 for Memorial’s most prestigious faculty award.
Named for the first president of Memorial University College, the John Lewis Paton Distinguished University Professorship is presented annually to a faculty member who embodies the university’s mission by demonstrating exceptional research, teaching and public engagement activities.
Nominations may come from any member of the university or wider communities.
The award recipient receives the lifetime designation Distinguished University Professor and a one-time, unrestricted grant of up to $20,000 to support future research, teaching and learning and public engagement activities at Memorial.
