Nominations due Nov. 2 for the President's Awards for Outstanding Research
The President's Awards for Outstanding Research (PAOR) recognizes young researchers who have made outstanding contributions to their scholarly disciplines. Each award includes a $5,000 research grant.
Nominations will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 2.
Candidates are judged on the quality, excellence and impact of their research, particularly their national and international stature as assessed by their peers.
PAOR nominations or applications must include: 1) a one-page citation or an appraisal of the candidate’s research, written in a style understandable to those outside the discipline; 2) three external references; and 3) an up-to-date curriculum vitae (CV). Nominations for the award may be made by any one person, but must be supported by two other sponsors. Applications for the award must be supported by three sponsors.
