CFI JELF EOIs now being accepted for internal review
The Office of CREAIT, CRC and CFI Services (CCCS), a unit within the Vice-President (Research) Portfolio, is currently accepting Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the Canada Foundation for Innovation’s John R. Evans Leaders Fund (CFI JELF).
This fund helps post-secondary institutions attract and retain top researchers through the acquisition of infrastructure to enable cutting-edge research.
Researchers should note that there are three important upcoming deadlines related to this competition.
- Aug. 12: Deadline for researchers to confirm proposal eligibility of match funding;
- Aug. 19: EOIs must be submitted to CCCS by 4 p.m.; and
- Oct. 15: Deadline for Memorial to submit applications approved during current EOI call to CFI.
Please note: EOIs will be assessed by an internal advisory committee, appointed by the vice-president (research). Assessments will be completed by Sept. 2. Only those EOIs selected by the committee will be eligible to apply for the CFI for its October deadline.
