Call for papers: ocean diving
The Journal of Ocean Technology (JOT) production team invites the submission of technical papers that describe cutting edge research related to ocean diving for its spring 2017 issue. Papers should present the results of new (i.e., not previously published) research in ocean technology, science or engineering, and be no more than 7,500 words in length. Papers might focus on diving equipment; infrastructure, such as technologies to carry divers to a site; activities pursued while diving (such as shipwreck diving, for example); shipwreck preservation as a draw for divers; or any related areas. Student papers are welcome. Papers are subject to a rigorous peer-review process and must be submitted no later than Nov. 18, 2016. All peer-reviewed papers in the JOT are open access.
In addition to technical papers, JOT will be seeking non-peer reviewed essays and short articles. If you want to discuss a potential written contribution to this issue, please touch base to discuss further.
