The spring 2023 issue of the Marine Institute's Journal of Ocean Technology will focus on energy from the ocean.

Potential topics include how the ocean can generate thermal (sun) and mechanical energy (i.e., tides, waves, currents); how the ocean can be used to produce hydrogen; how wind power can be captured to operate oil rigs (for example); and other similar ocean energy topics.

The editorial team is inviting the submission of technical papers, essays, and short articles for this issue.
