Research Spotlight - Celestial conversations: Update reveal for "Our Future & Space"
The Geo team has been busy over the past months, updating the "Our Future and Space" exhibit. Everyone is welcome to the reveal.
Free admission. No registration required.
- 5-7 p.m.: Geo Centre exhibits will be open, with free admission.
- 7-7:30 p.m.: Mission Memorial: Q&A panel with Drs. Ivan Booth (B.Sc.’95), Penny Morrill and Hilding Neilson” – who are all based in the Faculty of Science – about their research about space and contributions to the exhibit updates.
- 7:45-8:45 p.m.: Alumna Dr. Susan Redmond presents: "To the stratosphere and beyond: Chasing cosmic clues with balloon-borne telescopes."
- 8:50 p.m.: Moon viewing with the St. John's Centre St. John's Centre Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (weather permitting).
