I completed my B.Sc.(EE) at University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore in 1986, my M.Sc. Nuclear Engineering at CNS, Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad in 1988 and my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at Imperial College London in 1994. From 1988 to 1991 and again from 1995 to 1999, I worked at Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS), Islamabad. From 1999 to 2000, I worked as an Associate Professor at Riphah International University. Since 2001, I am working at Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, Memorial University of Newfoundland. I teach many electrical engineering courses e.g. electrical engineering design, process control and instrumentation, renewable energy systems, filters synthesis. Currently, my research focuses on modeling and control of hybrid renewable energy systems and I have strong interest in consumer electronics and instrumentation.
