Personal Profile

I graduated with B.Eng., in mechanical engineering from Sri Venkateswara University, India. Subsequently I attended Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India where I completed M.Tech and PhD in Engineering Mechanics. After completing my studies at IIT, I held a teaching position at College of Engineering, Goa affiliated to Bombay University. Subsequently I held teaching and research positions at Memorial University of Newfoundland.

My teaching activities cover a range of mechanical engineering topics including mechanics and design and computer aided engineering. Currently, my research is in the areas of finite element analysis, fatigue and fracture mechanics.
