Field Notes Series for Hibernia Teaching Fellowship Program 2018
The program is facilitated through the Oceans Learning Partnership and funded by the Hibernia Management and Development Company Ltd (HMDC). Paid field placements are offered at one of four partner science and marine centres - the Ocean Sciences Centre (Dept. of Ocean Sciences), the Bonne Bay Marine Station, the Johnson GEO CENTRE, and Manuels River Hibernia Interpretation Centre.
What is the Field Notes Series?
The Field Notes Series will follow the Hibernia Teaching Fellows on the Faculty of Education Facebook page this fall. The posts will highlight their experiences and process to show what they are doing at their field sites and during special events. Through the campaign we can follow along the Fellows’ experiences at each of the partner field sites and see first-hand what the pre-service teachers are learning about experiential, ocean STEM education and share in their learning experience.
