Join Us for a Day Trip to Bell Island on Saturday, July 25!
The Racialized Graduate Students Collective warmly invites graduate students to join us for a fun and relaxing Day Trip to Bell Island on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This excursion is a wonderful opportunity to explore one of Newfoundland and Labrador's most historic and scenic communities while connecting with fellow graduate students in the Faculty of Education. Highlights of the trip include the Bell Island Mine Tour, the Bell Island Community Museum, Lighthouse Point, the World War II Gun Battery, scenic coastal viewpoints, and a picnic with food, games, and opportunities to build new friendships.
Whether you are new to Newfoundland and Labrador or have been here for some time, we encourage you to join us for a day of exploration, conversation, and community. If you are interested, please register using the link below to help us finalize transportation and other logistics. We look forward to spending a memorable day with you!
