Addressing graduates remotely, Dr. Rhonda Joy encourages students to be proud and to celebrate the work they're accomplished and to celebrate the world around them. 

Just as fall 2021 is a transitional semester for current students, the fall convocation ceremony will be slightly different to align with the COVID-19 restrictions. This may include fewer guest tickets available for graduands’ guests and restrictions on the number of attendees from the university and the community. Alternate plans are also under development in the event of changes to provincial risk levels. The event will be livestreamed for those who are not able to attend in person.
