Biographies
Sana Jamil, PhD, is an educational Technologist at University Canada West. Dr. Sana enjoys analyzing, designing, developing, implementing and evaluating processes and tool to enhance teaching and learning experiences. Her research interests include educational technology, teacher professional development, and policy.
Mike Chong is a lecturer at the School of Pharmacy at MUN. His interest in exploring PhD student feedback stems from experiences throughout his doctoral studies and the interactions he had with supervisors, reviewers, colleagues, and other students.
Khalid al Hariri is a PhD candidate in the Faculty of Education at MUN. His doctoral dissertation compares between native and non-native English speaking instructors in their teaching of academic writing in English for academic purposes programs. His research interests include culture, writing, English as a Lingua Franca, and the issues of NNESTs.
Jim Tuff is a PhD Candidate at the Faculty of Education, Memorial University, who has research interests in educational leadership, professional learning, and educational technology.
Beverly FitzPatrick is an associate professor with Memorial University’s School of Pharmacy and cross-appointed with the Faculty of Education. Her research interests include classroom assessment; hence, her collaboration with addressing feedback as part of this diverse group of PhD candidates and graduates.
