Abrahams, Mark - (Biology/Ocean Sciences) The ecology of fear — investigating non-lethal predator-prey interactions and how they are mediated by the characteristics of the predator, its prey, and their environment. Research mostly focuses on fish and also includes how their physiology interacts with their environment including sensory abilities, tolerance to hypoxia, and effects of temperature. Hurford, Amy - (Mathematics and Statistics and Biology) theoretical ecology, evolution, and epidemiology. I develop mechanistic models that consider how intra- and interspecific species interactions affect population dynamics.
