Campus Enforcement and Patrol
Campus Enforcement and Patrol (CEP) is responsible for the safety and security of of students, university employees, staff and university property. CEP services include traffic and parking control, key issues and access, incident and emergency response. For more information visit the CEP website.
CEP is responsible for areas of the Health Sciences Centre that are part of Memorial University such as the Medical Education Centre, Craig L. Dobbin Genetics Research Centre, the School of Nursing, the School of Pharmacy, the Divisions of Biomedical Sciences and Community Health and Humanities. Areas of the Health Scienes Centre and other health care facilities that are operated by Eastern Health are patrolled by Paladin security services.

Parking
Faculty members can purchase a parking permit through the parking office, located in the Facilities Management building (see campus map). New faculty members will need to show a letter of appointment from their department or unit, as well as having their vehicle registration with them.

After-hour access
Faculty members need a photo ID card (campus card) to access the building (e.g. Medical Education Centre) after-hours. The campus card can be obtained at the Answers Office in the University Centre, room 3005 (see campus map). Faculty members must present their employee number, or a letter from their department in order to obtain the card. The campus card also serves as the library card. Access requests should be sent to the Director of Administrative Services Gary Peddigrew who verifies the authenticity of the request.
