REGIONAL ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR (BAND LEVEL 7)

(Senior Career Development Coordinator)

Office of Engagement 

Grenfell Campus, Memorial University

(Part-Time Contractual Position to May 1, 2025)

DUTIES 

Grenfell Campus is a community engaged University, where faculty and students make significant contributions to local, national, and international employers, as well as governments and community groups. As part of the Grenfell Office of Engagement team, the successful applicant will perform complex and diverse tasks which support engaged research, teaching, and learning at Grenfell Campus. Duties include collaborating with relevant campus units on public engagement activities; exploring cross-campus partnerships to facilitate regional engagement initiatives and events; engaging externally with regional partners in supporting public engagement initiatives; liaising internally with faculty to support both existing and the development of new engaged research, teaching, and learning opportunities; coordinating the City Engaged Learning partnership with the City of Corner Brook; supporting the Engagement Office’s strategic planning, work planning, and project management initiatives; and performing other related duties as required.   

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience (1-3 years) in the fields of experiential learning and/or regional engagement; completion of an Undergraduate degree in Social Sciences, Business, Student Services, or a related field; coursework towards/completion of a Master’s degree considered an asset; or any equivalent combination of experience and training. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, with experience/skills in project management; possess strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; be highly motivated, able to work independently, and have a demonstrated ability to build relationships with students/faculty, as well as externally between the university and larger community.  

SALARY                       $54,770 - $82,150 per annum (Management and Professional)
