Federal Contractors Program

Effective June 2013, Human Resources and Skills Development Canada announced a re-designed Federal Contractors Program which increased the contract threshold to $1,000,000 from $200,000.

Under the re-designed Federal Contractors Program, employers will be assessed every three years based on the following requirements:

  • Collection of workforce information
  • Complete a workforce analysis
  • Establish short and long term numerical goals
  • Make reasonable progress and reasonable efforts
