Sally Western, a former MA student in our department under the supervision of John Sandlos has recently published "Arsenic Lost Years: Pollution Control at Giant Mine from 1978 to 1999" in "The Northern Review." This is based on her Major Research Paper that she completed while in the Department of History at Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador.
