CBC News Summer Scholarship

The CBC News Summer Scholarship will build on the successes of the Joan Donaldson Scholarship and the Peter Gzowski Internship, both of which have been running for more than two decades at CBC News and have launched the careers of hundreds of journalists.

Information about the program, placements, deadline and process is available on CBC’s website.

The new scholarship will be open to graduating students in their final year of study at any post-secondary institution in Canada. Formal journalism education is not required, but candidates will need to demonstrate journalism skills and experience. Candidates apply directly to the program themselves.
