Partnerships for Cannabis Policy and Evaluation Postdoctoral Fellowship
The Partnerships in Cannabis Policy Evaluation (Newfoundland and Labrador) project team is seeking expressions of interest from persons interested in joining our team as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. We are seeking an ambitious, highly motivated, organized, and results-driven person to join our project team. The focus will be on conducting research using citizen and stakeholder engaged approaches as well as overseeing the project’s knowledge translation plan. The successful applicant will be required to work independently and collaboratively with the project team as well as our project partners, collaborators, and citizens.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Completed (within the last 5 years) or near completion (with a confirmed defense date) of a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline (e.g., health sciences or social sciences)
Experience with public engagement
Research record demonstrating qualitative research expertise congruent with career stage, including developing research tools, conducting focus groups/interviews, thematic analysis, and experience with NVivo.
Knowledge of quantitative research methods (e.g., survey) is considered an asset
Demonstrated interest in cannabis policy evaluation
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
Comfortable with working independently and in collaboration with others.
Superior organizational and time management skills
