Memorial University Botanical Garden is thrilled to announce a new presenting sponsor for the Merry & Bright Holiday Light Festival – IG Wealth Management. This exciting partnership will illuminate the festival with a renewed sense of festive spirit and energy.

With the generous support of IG Wealth Management, the festival will now extend its enchanting glow from November 29th to December 22nd, spreading holiday cheer throughout the Avalon Peninsula.

Kim Shipp, Director of the Botanical Garden, shared her excitement about this partnership, stating, “We are delighted to welcome IG Wealth Management as our presenting sponsor this year. Together, we aim to create an unforgettable experience for our guests and sponsors alike. The festival will continue to feature beloved displays such as the caterpillar of light while introducing new attractions that we’re looking forward to sharing with our visitors.”

Featuring over 120,000 twinkling lights and captivating displays, the Merry & Bright Holiday Light Festival has become a cherished tradition for the community. Last year, the festival enchanted over 28,000 guests, and this year, with IG Wealth Management's support, the festival is set to welcome a similar number.

Pamela Earle, Vice President Atlantic Region with IG Wealth Management, shared IG’s motivation for becoming a part of this event, stating, “We were drawn to the Merry & Bright Holiday Light Festival because it captures the essence of the holiday season and brings our community together. We are proud to support this wonderful initiative and contribute to the joy of the season. Our staff, clients, and their families have enjoyed past festivals, and we are excited to be a part of this magical experience.”

Advance ticket sales for season pass holders begin online November 1st, with access for the general public starting November 8th.
