Winter 2021 - Graduate Relevant Dates
Delayed start to winter 2021 semester
The official start date of winter 2021 classes in most programs at the St. John's campus, Grenfell Campus and Marine Institute will be moved to Monday, Jan. 11, 2021. Changes in certain dates have been reflected below.

| Wednesday, Jan. 6 | Lectures begin for Faculties of Engineering and Applied Science and Nursing winter semester courses (revised). |
| Monday, Jan. 11 | Lectures begin for winter semester courses (excluding Faculties of Engineering and Applied Science, Medicine and Nursing) (revised). Last day for students to pay fees for winter semester courses without incurring the late payment fee. This also includes payment through payroll deduction (revised). |
| Friday, Jan. 15 | Deadline to apply to graduate at the Spring Convocation 2021. Applications received after this date will be processed as time and resources permit. |
| Monday, Jan. 18 | Final date for receipt, by the Registrar, of replacement grades for "INCOMPLETE" grades in undergraduate and graduate courses, fall semester (revised). |
| Monday, Jan. 25 | Last day to add winter semester courses (revised). |
| Monday, Feb. 1 | Final date for graduate students to withdraw from programs without incurring liability for tuition fees, winter semester (revised). An administrative fee of $25 will be charged for any retroactive withdrawal or leave of absence approved after this date (revised). Final date for departments to submit Recommendation for Award of Degree in order for graduate students to be deregistered from graduate registration course ([SUBJ] 9000/MED 9900) and receive a 100% refund of continuance fees for winter semester (revised). |

| Monday, March 22 | Final date for departments to submit Recommendation for Award of Degree in order for graduate students to be deregistered from graduate registration course ([SUBJ] 9000/MED 9900) and receive a 25% refund of continuance fees for winter semester (revised). |
| Saturday, March 27 | Additional day of lectures. Lectures will follow the Friday schedule on this day only (new). |
| Friday, April 2 | Good Friday. No lectures. |
| Friday, April 9 | Lectures end for winter semester. |
| Wednesday, April 14 | Examinations begin for winter semester. |
| Friday, April 23 | Examinations end for winter semester. |
