Winter 2020 - Graduate Important Dates
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been changes to important dates for Winter 2020. Further details can be found on the COVID-19 FAQ page for information regarding academics.

| Monday, Nov. 25 | Registration begins for graduate students. |
| Friday, Dec. 20 | Deactivation of waitlist processing after the close of registration. |
| Saturday, Dec. 21 | Registration system unavailable. |
| Monday, Jan. 6 | Lectures begin for winter semester courses.
Last day for students to pay fees for winter semester courses without incurring the late payment fee. This also includes payment through payroll deduction. |
| Monday, Jan. 13 | Final date for receipt, by the Registrar, of replacement grades for "INCOMPLETE" grades in undergraduate and graduate courses, fall semester. |
| Tuesday, Jan. 15 | Deadline to apply to graduate at the spring convocation 2020. Applications received after this date will be processed as time and resources permit. |
| Tuesday, Jan. 28 | Last day to add winter semester courses (revised). |
| Tuesday, Feb. 4 | Final date for graduate students to withdraw from programs without incurring liability for tuition fees, winter semester (revised).
An administrative fee of $25 will be charged for any retroactive withdrawal or leave of absence approved after this date (revised). Final date for departments to submit Recommendation for Award of Degree in order for graduate students to be deregistered from graduate registration course ([SUBJ] 9000/MED 9900) and receive a 100% refund of continuance fees for winter semester (revised). |

| Monday, Feb. 24 | Lectures resume at St. John's campus and Grenfell Campus. |
| Tuesday, March 3 | Final date for departments to submit Recommendation for Award of Degree in order for graduate students to be deregistered from graduate registration course ([SUBJ] 9000/MED 9900) and receive a 50% refund of continuance fees for winter semester (revised). |
| Tuesday, March 10 | Last day for students to drop winter semester courses without academic prejudice (revised). |
| Tuesday, March 24 | Final date for departments to submit Recommendation for Award of Degree in order for graduate students to be deregistered from graduate registration course ([SUBJ] 9000/MED 9900) and receive a 25% refund of continuance fees for winter semester (revised). |
| Saturday, March 28 | Additional day of St. John's and online lectures. Lectures will follow the Friday schedule on this day only (new). |
| Friday, April 3 | Grenfell on-campus lectures end for winter semester. |
| Wednesday, April 8 | Grenfell on-campus examinations begin for winter semester. |
| Thursday, April 9 | St. John's and online lectures end for winter semester (revised). |
| Friday, April 10 | Good Friday. No lectures or examinations. |
| Monday, April 13 | St. John's and online examinations begin for winter semester (revised). |
| Saturday, April 18 | Grenfell on-campus examinations end for winter semester. |

| Sunday, April 26 | Final grades released via Memorial Self-Service beginning at 5 p.m (revised - April 22). |
