If you wish to challenge for credit, complete and submit a Challenge for Credit form to transfer.credit@mun.ca.

Your application must receive approval from the head of the academic unit offering the course(s) who may require documents from you and/or an interview before making a decision whether or not to accept the challenge. The academic unit involved will be responsible for deciding the scheduling and appropriate method of evaluation, which may consist of a variety of possible modes of evaluation including written, practical and oral.

Fee and processing time

There is a fee of one-half the tuition associated with the credit value of the course(s) you wish to challenge. This fee will be refunded only if the requested course(s) cannot be challenged.

It typically takes four to eight weeks to process the request.
