Convocation is an annual event held at both the Grenfell Campus in Corner Brook and at the St. John’s campus. Spring convocation normally occurs in early May at the Grenfell Campus and in late May at the St. John’s campus. Fall convocation normally occurs in late October at the St. John’s campus.

International graduating students may need a letter from the University inviting named family members to attend convocation for entry visa purposes. Students who have submitted an application to graduate may request an invitation letter from the Registrar's Office by emailing graduation@mun.ca.
