The Dr. Cater W. Andrews Scholarship
The Dr. Cater W. Andrews Scholarship was established by the family and former students of the late Dr. C. W. Andrews. It is awarded annually to a full-time student pursuing graduate work at Memorial University in marine or freshwater biology. It is currently valued at $1,100. The recipient must meet the academic requirements for a School of Graduate Studies Fellowship. Exceptional industry and interest in the field, together with academic standing, will be taken into account. The scholarship will be awarded by the Dean of Graduate Studies on the recommendation of the Head, Department of Biology.
The application consists of a covering letter, a one-to-two page statement of research, a CV with a list of appropriate publications or presentations, two letters of reference, and a current transcript.
The deadline date for submission of applications to the Biology Department is March 2, 2015.
