2014 Canada Savings Bonds
Again this year, Memorial will be offering employees and retirees the opportunity to participate in the Canada Savings Bond Payroll Savings Program via the internet. Employees and retirees who wish to set up new plans or make changes to existing plans will be able to do so during the campaign period (October 1, 2014 to November 1, 2014) by accessing the Payroll Savings Program website at www.csb.gc.ca/employees.
Payroll deductions resulting from this sign-up period will commence with the December 11, 2014 pay period. If you are currently contributing to the Payroll Savings Program and do not want to change your deduction amount, your current amount deducted will continue as previously authorized.
With automatic payroll deductions, the Payroll Savings Program provides an easy way for you to save for the things you want. The program is free (there are no commissions, management fees or hidden charges) and you can access your funds online anytime.
For more information on this program or to participate, please visit www.csb.gc.ca/employees. Once on this site, Memorial employees interested in participating in the program should click on CSB Online Services. When prompted for our employer organization code, please enter 11595. A client ID will be created during the process and you will then create your own password. Please remember, this service will be available during the campaign period starting October 1.
Employees who are already registered for secure online access to payroll savings can use their existing client ID and password. If you have misplaced your client ID or password, you can re-register directly online or call Canada Savings Bond Customer Service at 1-877-899-3599. This customer service line is available Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. EST.
