Thrive Week
Employee Wellness and the Student Wellness and Counselling Centre have worked with partners across campuses to make this year’s Thrive Week a pan-university initiative. Thrive Week, a week full of events to promote well-being, will take place from Nov. 3-7, 2025.
During Thrive Week, Memorial University students, faculty and staff will be encouraged to prioritize self-care, alleviate stress, and discover new skills and resources that support mental health and overall well-being.
Events planned during Thrive Week include a variety of both in-person and virtual activities. Activities include yoga; vaccine clinics; smudging and storytelling with Elders; snuggle stops with animals (separate snuggle stops are planned with kittens, dogs and with goats!); goal-setting workshops; mindfulness activities; a hike to Cape Spear; button making; and more!
