Retirement Planning Seminar
Human Resources is pleased to offer a retirement planning seminar for the St. John's and Marine Institute campuses on Wednesday, Feb.18, 2015.
Employees who are eligible to retire or are considering retirement are invited to attend. Spouses are also welcome as are employees who are interested in learning more about retirement planning.
During this seminar, the following topics will be covered: the Memorial University Pension Plan, retiree group benefits, the Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security benefits, financial planning, transitioning into retirement, and retiree support through the Memorial University Pensioners' Association.
The St. John’s seminar will take place in the Engineering Building lecture theatre, EN-2006 and will run from 9:15 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
Free parking will be available in Areas 16 and 16A; however, employees who hold valid parking permits are asked to park in their assigned lot where practical. Refreshments will be provided during session breaks; however, lunch will be on your own.
