Student Health Services

Medical students registered with Memorial University may use the health services provided by Student Health Services, located in the University Centre, UC-5000.

The Student Health Services is available to provide comprehensive health care, including:

  • appointments with physicians or nurses;
  • counselling on:
    • smoking cessation;
    • fitness;
    • alcohol;
    • drugs;
    • general wellness;
    • reproductive health;
    • HIV testing, and counselling

The center may also make referrals to various specialists.

Students should bring their MCP card (or own provincial insurance card) when visiting for the first time. For appointments call 864-8500 or visit the Student Health Services. Refer to the Student Health Services website for more information.
