The psychiatry core rotation is composed of six weeks, comprised by three weeks of inpatient experience and three weeks of out-patient experience. Students will be involved with the assessment and treatment of patients throughout the lifespan, with a wide variety of psychiatric diagnoses in inpatient, consultation/liaison, out-patient and emergency settings. Seminars on specific psychiatry topics are presented during each weekly academic half-day.
