As the Associate Dean, Undergraduate Medical Education (UGME), I would like to welcome you to Memorial University’s Doctor of Medicine (MD) program. We are pleased that you have chosen our program for your medical studies. Our wonderful, dedicated UGME team will work to support you throughout your education as you develop the knowledge, skills, and experience to begin the formation of your professional identity as a physician.
 
We are very proud of our theme-based curriculum, our strong clinical focus, and our distributed medical education framework, which allows all of our learners to participate in clinical learning experiences throughout Newfoundland & Labrador, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island.
