Junior Band Week is a weeklong summer program at the School of Music for band students ages 8 to 14. This is a full-day camp, 9:00am-4:00pm. Students work with educators, and professional musicians to hone their musical skills. Activities include small group coachings, improvisation, private lessons, and band performances.

Junior Band Week offers a Fast Track program for outright beginners designed to teach them what they need to know about their instrument of choice in order to succeed in the first year of school band.

Whether you want to keep your chops up over the summer or get a head start on a beginning instrument, Junior Band Week has something for you!
