Number of positions: Two (2)x 12-month positions
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Family Medicine Residency Program in Canada.
- In practice (CCFP certified or eligible to sit the CCFP examination).
Application Process: Through the Family Medicine/Enhanced Skills Match (FM/ES match) of the Canadian Residency Matching Service (CaRMS).
The COE Program follows the CaRMS timeline for submission, deadline, and match dates.
All applicants must be eligible for registration on the Educational Registrar of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Six-Month Training Option
A six-month program may be available to physicians returning from practice. External funding would be required. This application would occur outside of CaRMS. If interested in more details, please contact the Program Director and/or the Academic Program Administrator.
