School of Music

June 24 to 29 is a week of song at Memorial School of Music. The MUN Song Academy welcomes a talented group of 15 young singers from across the province that will spend the week immersed in the world of art song performance. Participants range from high school students to those entering post-secondary training in music. Each singer's day includes a movement class designed to enhance body awareness and theatre skills; private lessons; language coachings; classes on voice related topics and masterclasses with School of Music faculty and this year's guest artists, Jonathan Monro and Jacinta Mackey Graham.
