M.Mus. '22, Performance (Piano)
What is your favourite memory from your time here?
One of the most beautiful moments I spent during my master's studies was after hibernating in a long winter, when spring began I made a long walk, after two hours I arrived in front of the sea, and at that moment my thoughts were silenced, and I only enjoyed existing and being in that beautiful place, surrounded by the majestic sea and behind me the beautiful mountains, what else could I ask for inspiration?
What advice would you have for someone starting their degree?
I would like to suggest to new students to enjoy studying, playing music, friendship, and being in that beautiful city. But the most important thing: stay warm and safe! :D
Why Music at Memorial?
I think that studying at MUN is an amazing opportunity to learn from amazing musicians and human beings. I loved that my professors always had the time and patience to help me to improve and grow as a musician. Moreover, I found a friendly community of musicians that drove to cooperation instead of an insane competition. I learned that music is about expressing your own voice to communicate the language of the soul.
What's next?
I am so excited that I am moving to British Columbia to start a new job in a music studio while I will continue playing and learning more about music.
Thank you Memorial University! It was an amazing experience that exceeded my expectations.
