The School of Music is one of the University’s most visible and effective links to the people of Newfoundland and Labrador. Not only is the School itself a significant cultural resource for the region through its facilities and public programming, but the School’s graduates are themselves the musical leaders in communities throughout the province, the country, and indeed the world.

The School of Music has a long history of support from the Newfoundland and Labrador community resulting in excellent facilities and growing scholarship support.
