Phase 4 Assessment Plans

The assessment in Phase 4 is based on Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs) established by the Association of Faculties of Medicine Canada (AFMC). EPAs are core abilities which every medical school graduate is expected to perform before transitioning into residency. Students should review the EPA page and EPA Assessment during Core page for more detailed information. 

Clinical performance in Phase 4 is assesed using a variety of tools, refer to the Assessment Types page for more details.
