Undergraduate degree from an undergraduate dietetics program in Canada, accredited by EQual, Accreditation Canada (or Partnership for Dietetic Education and Practice (prior to 2024)

A KCAT level 1 result is required for applicants who have completed their academic nutrition education outside of Canada or who have completed a Canadian accredited undergraduate nutrition degree more than three years ago. Visit the NL College of Dietitians to learn more.

A minimum of B+ (75%) average over the final two years of study.

Satisfactory completion of an undergraduate statistics course

Satisfactory statement of interest indicating basis of interest in professional public health nutrition practice, and relevant paid or volunteer experience in nutrition and in public health

Satisfactory appraisals from two referees

This program does not require a supervisor

Admission to the Master of Public Health is competitive and not all qualifying applicants are admitted. The Division of Population Health and Applied Health Sciences reserves the right to refuse admission to any applicant.
