Juanita Hennessey, International Student Advisor - Outreach Coordinator.

Coffee Club
Coffee Club is held every Friday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. - 4:30pm. The purpose of Coffee Club is to relax after a busy week and connect with friends. Coffee Club is very informal and is open to the campus community, including spouses and alumni.
One of the best ways to battle homesickness and adjust to life on campus is to socialize. At Coffee Club there is always interesting conversation, lots of laughter and refreshments. You will have the opportunity to learn about Newfoundland and hear fascinating stories from other international students.
Discussion Group
Discussion Group is held every Wednesday from 4pm - 5pm. In the summer we meet earlier, from 3:00-4:00pm. Discussion Group is informal and open to the campus community, including spouses and alumni. If you are interested in meeting new people, sharing your experiences or just relaxing with a cup of coffee and listening to the conversation you are welcome to attend. Each week a new topic is selected but there is no guarantee we stick to it, we just like to see where the conversation will go!
Activitea Group
Activitea Group is held every Tuesday from from 3:00-4:00pm. Activitea Group is an activity based group involving walking, volunteering, and presentations on various activities and interests. The group is open to the campus community, including spouses and alumni. Each week there will be a different activity as well as a backup plan depending on the weather.
