Friends of MUN Botanical Garden Inc. (FOG) is a not-for-profit registered Canadian charity (Registration no.: 118933126RR0001) which can accept donations for its Special Projects, General Operations, or In Memoriam. Donations of funds and Canadian securities can also be made by accessing FOG's account on the Canada Helps donation’s portal.

Donation payments can be mailed or delivered to FOG’s Contact addresseswith cheques or money orders made payable to "Friends of MUN Botanical Garden." Cash donations are also accepted on FOG’s behalf at the Garden’s Field Centre if specifically directed as being for FOG. Acknowledgment cards for In Memoriam funds will be mailed out as soon as possible after payments are processed. Donor tax receipts for amounts of CDN $10.00 or more will be mailed out on or before February 27th in the calendar year that immediately follows the one in which the donation was made.

CanadaHelps accepts all major credit cards, issues receipts directly to donors, and funds are deposited to FOG's bank account, net of a 3.9% transaction processing fee. FOG receives email notification of donations made through Canada Helps that includes any information about the donor or donation that the donor cares to share. Individuals are able to purchase gift cards, make In Memoriam donations, donate Canadian securities and/or funds through this portal.
