General admission requirements


Bachiller en Ciencias y Letras and completion of at least one year of study at a recognized Junior College, College or University.

Exceptional candidates may be considered for general admission on the basis of the Bachiller.

Required subject areas

  1. English
  2. Mathematics*
  3. Laboratory Science* (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
  4. Social Studies or Modern/Classical Language*
  5. Elective

*Students who are missing an eligible course in one of subject groups 2, 3 or 4, who apply for admission to a program that does not require completion of these courses, will be considered for general admission. In this case, an eligible course in subject groups 1, 2, 3 or 4 may be used to substitute the missing course. General admission criteria

Grade requirement
  • Exceptional Bachiller students with a minimum grade of 90% in each of the required subject areas may be considered for general admission.
  • Students who complete at least one year of study at a recognized Junior College, College or University must be in clear academic standing (equivalent to a minimum of 2.0 on a 4.0-point GPA scale).
English language proficiency
Competitive program entry (if applicable)
  • Admission to some programs is competitive for a limited number of spaces. A higher admission average and/or supplementary information may be required as part of the faculty-specific admissions.

  • Current interim transcript and English translation (if applicable). These can be uploaded to the admissions portal or sent by email
  • Official English proficiency test result.
  • Supplementary information for competitive-entry programs may be required with your application.
