Bachelor of arctic and subarctic interdisciplinary studies

Students pursuing the bachelor of arctic and subarctic interdisciplinary studies (BASIS) will typically take the following courses in their first year:

SASS 1500 (land-based) SASS 2500 (land-based)
SASS 1501 (land-based) SASS 2700 (experiential)

Throughout the program, students will have the opportunity to learn in classroom-based, land-based, and experiential settings, integrated throughout their degree. All classroom-based courses are numerically graded. All land-based and experiential courses are pass/fail (PAS/FAL).

Promotion

Students must successfully complete all courses in Modules 1 and 2 prior to registering for courses in Modules 3 through 11. Modules 3 through 11 must be successfully completed prior to registering for courses in Module 12.
