Dr. Sonja Boon is an Associate Professor in the Department of Gender Studies, where she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses across the curriculum. The recipient of a Dean's Award for Teaching Excellence (2015), she has research interests in life writing, autoethnography, women's history, and feminist theory, and a professional background as a classical musician.
